I got this great email sent to me regarding some possible opportunities for Western Sydney Writers. Not quite sure why there’s an age limit though (18-30). I think a program like this would be wonderful for all ages! If interested, take a look:
The Writing Zone, a program for emerging Western Sydney writers aged 18-30, is now open for applications!
The Writing Zone (TWZ) is an eight-month program of mentoring, writing, editing, performance and publication, housed at the Writing & Society Research Centre at Western Sydney University. TWZ is designed to help young writers from Western Sydney to tell their stories, polish their craft and build a creative community together. Please see the attached call out for more information. You can also find more information on our website.
You can apply to TWZ via Submittable. Applications close on 11 July 2022. All questions about the callout or the application can be sent to me at e.o’brien2@westernsydney.edu.au – I’m very happy to chat further by email or phone!
