we heavily wait
an endless sky above us
of an impending end below
we twilight and dawn
we shadow and light
we flicker so brightly
coloured by pencils
and sketched by crayons
we believe we endure
straying from the dotted lines
and thriving in the chaos
that is all of us and each other
we soft and we gay.
