I’ve known about this for about a month now and have been keeping this one close to my chest. I’m not sure why but to be speaking in a panel (hosted by Westwords) at the NSW Art Gallery has me nervous. I’ve been to this Art Gallery numerous times. I love going there and I’ve seen some great artists displayed and I’ve also heard from local artists. I never dreamed I’d be speaking there myself one day. Yet, here I am, asked to be a part of a panel to not only talk about my writing but also read an excerpt.
One of the biggest questions they’re asking is what inspires me to write, what is my passion and drive and so many parts of that answer is so personal and powerful. If I cry while answering some of these questions, it’s all your fault. After all, you support me and push me and keep me going. Without readers, I’m merely a journal.
Here. Take a look: NSW Art Gallery and maybe book your tickets?
